Message of the Month

Welcome April!

As we continue enjoying the energy of Spring- it is a time of fresh starts and new beginnings! Cleaning and clearing the “clutter” from our lives on all levels- physical, emotional, and mental. Let’s look into our karmic backpack as my friend Ayamanatara calls it, and see what we are ready to let go of and release. After a while those backpacks can get mighty heavy as we keep putting things, emotions, experiences in them- to carry around with us. Have you ever noticed that sometimes we get attached to certain stories that we allow to define us or a period in our lives? We may tell these stories over and over in our heads or to others to explain why we behave in a certain way or feel a certain way. Now don’t get me wrong- stories are wonderful in and of themselves- for example they can educate, entertain, enlighten and illustrate a point. They can be a beautiful way to communicate and share ideas. I’m referring to the stories that keep us stuck and stagnant. So now is the time to empty the backpack- and decide what you really want to carry around with you. It is a good time to develop some clarity on what is holding you back. Remember the lighter we are, the easier it is to grow, expand and move forward in life. My suggestion to you is to keep only the things that uplift, empower, and make you smile and feel loved- and then leave some room more of those experiences to show up! It could be something as simple as a beautiful sunset! So En-Lighten up!
